Here at La Sirena Grill, they make most of their food with organic ingredients and have grass feed carne asada. I have only been here twice now, but I do intend to go back soon. I really wanted to write something about my experience and let you know how I liked the food I got here. Also, there isn’t a dedicated GF menu, but they can make most of their food GF friendly.
Something I really thought that was cool. Mondays, here at the El Segundo location they do a special menu and everything on the menu is half off (Dine in only). Plus they have a house margarita that they also, do half off reg price too that day.
The Core Menu items that I have tried here: (comes with spanish rice and seasoned pinto beans)
- Dos Enchiladas ~ choose red(not spicy) or green (spicy)style, filled with jack cheese, topped with guacamole and sour cream, grilled veggies, Chicken or Carnitas $12 Grass feed Carne asada $14
- La Sirena Grill Fajitas ~ spicy grilled pasilla chile, herb cheese, bell peppers, onions, guacamole, handmade corn tortillas, Chicken or Carnitas $12 Grass feed Carne asada $15 Blackened Salmon or Tuna $16
The Dos Enchiladas was yummy and I had tried it green style(spicy)with the grass feed carne asada. I cleaned my plate 🙂
Then, the La Sirena Fajitas I tried this with the blackened salmon. The salmon looked so yummy but, I wouldn’t suggest getting the fajitas with the blackened salmon. Because, when I tried it there were a lot of seasonings, except salt (I felt it was missing that). I feel that even if I did put salt onto it though, I still think it would taste a little bit over seasoned. But, if you want to still try it with the blackened salmon. I would ask with lighter seasoning and maybe ask for a salt shaker for your table too.
